Drip time intervals are relative to the last step. Consider this scenario:

  • Step 1 - send 1 day after starting the campaign
  • Step 2 - send 1 hour after step 1
  • Step 3 - send 2 days after step 2

Step 2 will be sent an hour after Step 1, Step 3 two days after Step 2. Making the total campaign time 3 days and 1 hour.

All drip campaign steps are sent without intervals when using a Test API key to send a drip campaign. Only Production API keys use the intervals configured in the Drip Campaign builder.
